I needed a few things for a recipe and when I checked out was given this envelope for Chinese New Year. I thanked the cashier and wished her a Happy New Year. When I got home I opened the envelope to find this crisp $2 bill. Turns out the day I was at the market was the start of Chinese New Year and the crisp $2 bill is a rare gift that represents the wish for the recipient to have a happy and prosperous year. I LOVE that they included me in this tradition. It reminds me what an incredibly diverse melting pot we have in America and how lucky we are to enjoy so many cultures. Plus it gives us a lot more holidays to celebrate. Thank you Saigon Market!

Had all the ingredients for making home made pho. Great selection of hard to find authentic treats, seasonings, noodles, stock bones, and cooking tools. Ok pricing of items overall.

So glad this place moved closer to our house. It's also located in a shopping center so it makes it feel a bit safer during the evenings if you are shopping. There's only this Asian market and the bigger market HNL for folks here to do their Asian grocery shopping so I'm glad that Saigon moved and is now housing and providing a lot more options than they used to. They now have some desserts that they sell, they have a specialty bread and they often have bhn mi sandwiches that they sell. The prices are a little bit high but I'm sure that's due too importing the products either from Atlanta or Charlotte. You can find most things that you want to use to make any Asian dishes from the store. Staff is always friendly and helpful. It is big and clean, and doesn't smell bad so go give this place a shot if you're looking to make some yummy Asian dishes that requires Asian ingredients. Happy shopping.

I have never been to Saigon Supermarket when they were located by Northwoods Mall, but since they moved to Goose Creek, I've been there a few times They have a great selection of Asian food and seafood. The only seafood I've purchased are the jumbo shrimp. They were really big and the price was really good. I've gotten 3-4 lbs , which fed my family of 4. The store is clean and well stocked. Staff are very nice.

This is a super fun grocery store. They have lots of options from Southeast Asia. The little bakery part was our favorite to buy from snacks to eat on the go. They were made from scratch. The Ube pastry was super unique and tasty! Would definitely get it again. We were glad to find sticky rice from Thailand. They also had a really unique ice cream section with lots of flavors to choose from.

Today is beautiful, so we decided to hit the local Asian markets for some treats. This place is the best in the area and has only gotten better since our last visit. Spacious, clean, and fresh-smelling, they boast a huge variety of chilled coffees, teas, and fruit juices as well as gorgeous fresh mushrooms and herbs, fish and seafood on ice that were shiny-eyed and looking great. I saw a lady come out of the bakery area with something looking sandwichy rolled in paper and watched her put them in the fresh food cooler at the front. With no signage, only some rolls marked B and some not marked, I asked the checkout guy what they were and if B meant beef and he said, "They're like sandwiches. B is barbecue." It hit me: "Oh! Like banh mi?" He smiled and said yes. I grabbed one of each kind to try and he said, "You can get a bag of vegetables for each one." The carrots, onions, green peppers, and cilantro were nicely sliced in little sandwich bags to keep them crisp! We ate the barbecue one first, and it was spectacular! The bread was so soft and perfectly toothy, the meat tender and flavorful. This is my place for banh mi from now on!

I'm glad Saigon is in the 'creek! It was nice to stop by finally and check out the goods. It took over the save-a-lot so the setup is the same inside. The drink options are many and there's a variety of noodles and spices. The chrysanthemum drink tasted like the can though so won't be getting that again unless it's a house made syrup. The boba popsicles were phenomenal, I'll be back again to try more goodies down the line!

This was my first time visiting Saigon Supermarket and I was pleasantly surprised! I had gone to H&L for Thai basil and they were sold out so I discovered Saigon and made my way up rivers. Compared to H&L this store is much smaller but it's not lacking on product! They also had smaller portions which is awesome cause I never need a 1/2 pound of Thai chilis The staff was friendly and accommodating when needed. They have a fridge section with a large selection of beverages upon entry and along the back wall there is fresh produce and fresh meats and seafood. The aisle are filled with packaged items - noodles & rice, snacks, spices, home goods such as bowls, plates, and chopsticks. There is also a frozen section with a variety of dumplings and other traditional favorites. The store is located in a shopping center but it's easy to spot with the bright yellow signage. The inside of the store is clean and tidy. I think I prefer Saigon Market and would be willing to make the longer drive!

Located in a nondescript shopping center this store has a prominent sign. I was able to get almost everything I needed to make Pad Kee mao with the Thai basil I had been growing at home They didn't have the XL noodles but store looks well organized and clean, smaller than the competition but well stocked and the people behind the counter are much friendlier than the competition. Will go back for any of the oriental ingredients
